- other · 2025-05-01 — Tripadvisor review (stay April 2025) alleging a site-lock problem at this resort (2500 Airport Rd): the guest says they paid $401 in January for three nights in a chosen premium site, did not pay the extra $35 site-lock fee, and on arrival were reassigned to a much smaller site on the entrance road; staff allegedly refused a move even though the park was more than half empty, saying the assigned site was also premium. The reviewer says they will not return. Allegation. Original source
Themes: fees, management - other · 2026-08 — RV Life reviews for this resort (388 reviews overall): an August 2026 reviewer ($105/night) alleges they booked four weeks and paid over $400 extra for a premium site, then were told on arrival they would not get it because they had not booked through the front office - a review headlined as a bait-and-switch on sites; the same reviewer advises staying at the other Paso Robles Sun resort instead. Another August 2026 reviewer ($75/night) describes tight sites and a local party-spot feel with an 11pm quiet time. Allegations. Original source
Themes: fees, management, amenities - other · 4.1 (33 ratings) — Campendium reviews (4.1 from 33 ratings): guests report many amenities closed, no propane service, the bar open only one night of a stay, phones unanswered, short/narrow/unlevel sites, and the free WiFi not working with incorrect login instructions; one 3-night stay was priced at $158/night while a 13-night stay showed $52/night. Mixed with positive reviews of views, pool and bar. Original source
