- other · 2025-08-04 — Tripadvisor reviews from Aug 2025 (park rated across roughly 1,500 reviews: 763 excellent, 74 poor, 76 terrible). A returning guest alleges the park keeps raising rates while service is almost nonexistent, that at least one waterpark attraction is typically not working each day, that store prices are outrageous, and that poison ivy around sites and trails goes unaddressed. Another guest, camping there with grandkids over ten years, alleges costs have increased dramatically without any added value, dropping their rating from five stars. Allegations; a 21-year repeat guest in Oct 2025 by contrast called the grounds the best they have ever looked. Original source
Themes: fees, amenities, maintenance, management - other · 2026-05 — Tripadvisor review of a May 2026 Memorial Day stay: the guest alleges they booked a site beside the waterpark only to find it closed to campers until Friday while busloads of outside day-use groups arrived to use the facilities, and that a mowing employee cut part of their occupied site, spraying grass clippings over the guest. FLAG: the management response to this review is signed by Northgate Resorts rather than Sun, suggesting operating management may have changed since Sun's 2018 acquisition - worth verifying before attributing current operations to Sun. Original source
Themes: amenities, maintenance, management - other · 4.5 (24 reviews) — The Dyrt (4.5 across 24 reviews): a family reviewing an Easter weekend stay alleges repeated disturbances from a nearby group - loud music and disruptive behavior well past midnight - with an apparent lack of response to enforce quiet hours, which the reviewer says has been an ongoing holiday-weekend issue. Other Dyrt reviews praise the waterpark and activities, with several noting high peak-season pricing. Original source
Themes: management, safety, fees - other — Sun Outdoors' own listing for the Williamsport park (9550 Jellystone Park Way) puts premium seasonal sites at $7,900 - a concrete seasonal-rate datapoint for the park's long-term/seasonal campers. Original source
