- other · 3.4 (436 reviews) — Tripadvisor shows the Waller park (34843 Betka Rd; Sun since 2020) at 3.4 across 436 reviews. A detailed recent review alleges a family paid approximately $4,500 to rent the Grand Lodge and found dirty floors, broken doors, TVs and a pool table, numerous roaches and suspected mold; the reviewer says management blamed them for not reporting problems sooner, a promised manager callback never came, and after several emails the park closed the complaint offering camp credit instead of a refund. Individual guest allegations. Original source
Themes: maintenance, fees, management, safety - other · 2014 — FLAG - predates Sun's 2020 acquisition of this park by roughly six years; included only as park history, not a Sun-era complaint. A 2014-era Tripadvisor review alleges a park-wide power outage lasting hours with no ETA (staff said similar outages had recently taken up to 8 hours), a pool that opened over four hours late, ruined food, no supervisor on site, and staff who refused a partial refund. Individual guest allegation from the pre-Sun period. Original source
