- review · 2.9 (72 reviews) — Tripadvisor listing for the former Slickrock Campground at 1301 N Hwy 191 — at 2.9 from 72 reviews, the lowest-rated Sun property in Utah in this sweep. A reviewer alleges the layout forces RV sites to face each other and share a common area too small for both parties, and raises a safety allegation about the new bathhouse: its code-entry doors are widely known-coded, do not auto-close, and when left open give a direct sight line into both the women's and men's showers, which the reviewer calls unsafe especially for women. The same reviewer alleges in-park construction workers drove tractors while drinking beer. Wi-Fi failure was partly credited with a 20% refund. Original source
Themes: safety, maintenance, management - review — A Campendium reviewer staying during in-park construction alleges a cascade of failures: an email 20 hours before arrival warning of 'inconvenience,' a car parked in their assigned spot, the park resembling an active construction site with heavy machinery, trenches and dust, their sewage hookup taken by a neighbor, missing grill and table, a site too tight to open the awning, no staff help for 45 minutes, internet out because a cable was cut during digging, and water shut off for the construction work with no notice or signage — restored about 45 minutes after complaining. The reviewer reports cutting the stay from 3 nights to 2 and disputing the refund, saying the park claimed a refund was given for the inconvenience. Original source
Themes: maintenance, management, fees, utilities - review — Campendium guest reports put nightly rates at $90-$94 at this 1301 N Hwy 191 property. Reviewers allege Wi-Fi that failed several times within every five-minute span despite a visible antenna, trash dumpsters overflowing for the last two days of a stay, and sites so close that a neighbor's slide-outs blocked access to their own utility and cable connections; one guest alleges that despite reserving months in advance with a 35-foot rig, they were placed in a 30-foot space and their auto-leveling system could not level the rig. Other guests praise the new showers, pool and hot tub and the location. Original source
